Dear Sir,
I’m writing to tell you something about our discussion on the topic “Whether Middle School Students Can Carry Mobile phones (Cell phones)" at the class meeting.
Forty percent of the students agree, for they think it is convenient for them to communicate with their relatives and friends. They also hold the view that they can surf the Internet to search for some information and store some useful information in them. Besides, they can play games for rest if they feel tired after a long time of study.
However, sixty percent of them are against it. They believe the radiation of cell phones is harmful to health, and the ringing sound does somewhat affect the cell phone holders and others. Also, cell phones are luxuries for middle school students and it is easy to lead them to compare with each other.
As far as I’m concerned, I agree with the majority. It is not suitable for middle school students to have cell phones. We can get in touch with others by other means and we can read more books to enrich ourselves.
