Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is planning to make his second visit to China. The world’s No. 1 social networking company is trying to find the best way to enter the country which is home to the world’s largest Internet market measured (衡量) by the number of users.
“Our company aim is to connect (连接) the whole world,” said Mark. “But it’s impossible to think about doing that right now without China.”
Created in a dormitory at Harvard University in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook has brought great pressure to Internet companies like Google and Yahoo as it has become a popular online website for Internet users and an important marketing channel(渠道) for advertisers.
In 2010, when Facebook announced that its e-mail service would allow its members to communicate with anyone inside or outside the walls of the social network, quickly it jumped over the 361.7 million global users of Microsoft Hotmail, Yahoo Mail’s 273.1 million users and Gmail’s 193.3 million users. It is going to offer e-mails to more than 500 million members of its social
