Recently we have made a discussion about whether it is necessary for parents to stay with their children in a hotel near the school during College Entrance Examination.
About 75% of the students think it unnecessary to do so as it costs a lot for one thing. For another, it doesn’t matter much where to stay if the examiners have a good state of mind. Furthermore, some even emphasize they would feel more nervous with parents at their side.
On the other hand, 25% of the students hold the opposite opinion. They believe living in a hotel can do more good than harm to them. First, they can get themselves to suit the environment and save the time which is spent on the way to school as well. Meanwhile, with the company of the parents, they will perform better.
In my opinion, it is all right to live in a hotel together with the parents. But what affects the examination marks is not where to live but the efforts made in every day’s study before.
