Every summer vacation, parents will send their children to different kinds of summer camps, such as English camps, weight-losing camps, etc.

Every summer vacation, parents will send their children to different kinds of summer camps, such as English camps, weight-losing camps, etc.
Their reasons are as follows: To begin with, summer is a right time for children to enrich their knowledge, broaden their horizons and strengthen their basis of different subjects. Meanwhile, in some parents’ opinion, it is far better to keep their children occupied than to leave them at home watching TV all day or just having nothing to do.
As far as I am concerned, taking part in the summer camps does not necessarily benefit children. So, there is no need for all parents to copy something blindly. As for the coming summer vacation, I will spend some time going over my lessons every day. I will also have time to relax and enjoy my hobbies. I can go swimming, watch interesting programs on TV, do some reading and meet my friends. In addition, I can participate in community work and this will raise my awareness of public service. I will have a meaningful summer vacation.
