I was lucky to have been chosen to the International Students’ Exchange Program. I studied in the US from September, 2007 to July, 2009 and I lived in a family whose landlord was Mr. Smith. I spent nearly two years studying in a public school in the beautiful York Town. The teachers there were strict but they had many ways to make their lessons lively and interesting. What impresses me most is that the Americans respect their children, but they don’t spoil them. And the students don’t have much homework to do, so they are able to learn more freely by themselves.
