From December 12 to December 19, 2010, two weeks after the conclusion of the 16th Asian Games, the 2010 Para Games of Asia will be held in Guangzhou , which is the first city to host both the 16th Asian Games and the Para Games. By some estimates, some 3,000 athletes from 45 countries and regions will compete against each other in the scheduled events for the honour of winning. More than 2,000 journalists will come to cover the Games and 30,000 volunteers will be recruited to provide good quality services. There will be 26 stadiums and gymnasiums including 19 competition venues and seven training venues.
