The Education Ministry has announced that this September the waltz is to be introduced into primary and secondary schools in China to take the place of the radio gymnastic exercises. I think it will be welcomed by most students, not only because it is a good way for students to relax between class periods, but also it is a nice way to help students develop their ability in art appreciation. Besides, through dancing together boys and girls may understand and cooperate with each other better, thus narrowing the gap between them. It helps to keep schools in peace and harmony. Anyway, a school full of music and dancing is a more stress –free, therefore a more appealing place. I can’t wait to see our school with boys and girls dancing together, full of laughter.
