A: Schools should not publish students’ exam results or rank their scores．First, there is more to each student that just their exam scores．Everyone is different．Secondly, each score should be private．It’s better for students to keep their results to themselves．Thirdly, some bright students may be so proud of their high scores that they get lazy．They might also look down upon the students who did less well．On the other hand, some students with low scores may just feel worse． They could lose confidence in their own studies．
B: We don’t agree with the opinion．It is good for students to find out what problems they have．If they are compared to others, they will know whether they have to improve or not． If they don’t know where they sit, they may not have the motivation to study harder． If they know the scores of other students, they will have a sense of competition．They will listen to their teachers carefully and finish their homework on time．Parents also want to know more about the progress of their children．The results will help the teachers, too．
