       I’d like to recommend Mary for this year’s Good Student Award.

Mary is kind and helpful to others. She often helps us clean up the classroom. She studies hard and studies all the subjects well. She knows a lot about Chinese history. She is good at swimming. Sometimes she teaches others to swim.

Last week, on her way home, she saved a four-year-old girl from the river, and then she was ill in hospital. But she thinks that’s what she should do.
