He hurt his left arm in Survival

This is a great article, Back to the Future. What interests me is how some kinds of animals can survive for millions of years without changing much. Are there more kinds of animals like this? How can horseshoe crabs survive changes in the sea water and even live out of the water for up to four days? Can horseshoe crabs be harmful or helpful? I am guessing that it is helpful since they eat almost everything. This article makes me very interested and curious. Thank you for teaching me something about animals I never knew about before. —Orion H., 7th Grade, HI

The Homework

Debate

I really enjoy reading your new issue, Rethinking Homework. I also sometimes wake up in the middle of the night and realize I have homework to do. I go to a school with a different teacher for each subject. This is a problem for me because each teacher does not know how much homework we already have, sometimes they assign a lot. I think I need less homework so I can do the things I enjoy, like playing soccer and seeing my friends. —Lydia R., 10, NC

Far Out!

I enjoy your recent article, Exploring Mars. In the science class, we have been talking about when the planet Earth is overpopulated, we will need to find another place to live. It would be so cool if we could find another planet that we could live on. There is probably one out there! —Eleanor R., 10, NC

I really enjoy reading the article, Pluto has a Twin Sister. I can’t believe that they’ve found a dwarf planet identical to Pluto in space! This makes me think that there must be more out there, maybe even big ones. —Will P., 11, NC
