My name is Mary. As a child, I was interested in planes. I often ran out with my brother Jack to see the planes which flew over our home.

I still remember my first flight (乘机). At the age of 18, I went to Delhi. My father bought me an air ticket. On the night before the trip, I was so excited that I couldn’t sleep.

I went to the airport by taxi. When I arrived there, I found it very nice and clean. I felt very happy when I was waiting for the flight in the hall. After a few minutes, an airport bus took me to the plane. Then the air hostess (空姐) showed me my seat. When the plane started to move, I felt a little afraid. Then the plane took off from the ground. As I was sitting near the window, I could easily enjoy the beauty outside.

Now I often travel by air. Yet I can’t forget the feelings on my first flight.
