My Opinion on Luck
With the National College Entrance Examination drawing near, all the students wish to succeed in it so as to realize their dreams. But there are some students who, instead of devoting their time to their study, go to the temple and pray for good luck. They think success results from good luck, upon which whether they can be admitted into their dream universities mainly depends.
However, others insist that diligence is the mother of good luck. Only by hard work can they achieve what they want. Even though they fail sometimes, they don’t give up, because they believe success lies in their own hands.
As for me, I’m in favor of the latter opinion. Luck doesn’t come alone. It goes hand in hand with hard work.. Sometimes some students are lucky enough to succeed, but such luck won’t last long because it is not based on their own abilities.
