Very glad to have received your letter. Now I’ll tell you about students’ taking the part-time jobs in Britain. In the UK, any secondary student over 15 can get a part-time job in his spare time. But they can work no more than three hours a day or 18 hours a week during the school year, and they are not allowed to work after 7: pm.
In my opinion, taking a part-time job is beneficial, for first of all, teenagers may gain some working skills, such as how to fill out an application, how to do well in an interview and how to get along with co-workers and bosses. What’s more, taking a part- time job offers us a chance to learn to deal with our money properly. Above all, we may not only feel more confident when facing difficulties, but also learn to solve problems more independently , and therefore develop a sense of responsibility for our work and study .
